For Children’s Day: The 10 Children’s Rights
„If we want to achieve true peace in the world, we have to start with the children,“ is a quote by Mahatma Gandhi.
In this spirit, today, on International Children’s Day (1 June), we would like to draw attention to the importance of respecting the rights of children and we emphasise our commitment to defending them, with a special focus on the people of Chocó, Colombia. This region, marked by poverty and armed conflict, unfortunately holds much potential for child rights violations. Therefore, it is important for us to continue to support the affected populations and to enable a positive impact on the situation of children in the Chocó through our constant work.
For this reason, we share the 10 fundamental children’s rights according to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which must become a reality in all parts of the world:
