The female students of the CASA HOGAR dormitory in Quibdó are to be further qualified by promoting entrepreneurial leadership and management skills. This includes, in particular, economic skills that will ensure the long-term financial security of the dormitory and the projects. The female students are to be supported to become involved in social projects for the development of the population in their hometowns and to contribute to their own costs.

A framework for this is provided by the entrepreneurship project that Fundación La Paz has set up for the young female students. It serves to establish a tutoring center in Quibdó with the following goals:

1. Empowerment of the 30 female students of CASA HOGAR La Paz (CHLP) through workshops to develop skills in economic, personal, professional and social areas,
2. Creation of the social enterprise “CHLP Academic and Psychosocial Support Center” (tutoring center) in Quibdó to provide solutions to the needs of school-age children and adolescents in Quibdó, since during the Corona times the schools were closed and schooling could only take place in deficit,
3. To generate income for CASA HOGAR La Paz so that it directly benefits the students of the CHLP as well as contributes to the economic sustainability of the CHLP and its operations.

The female students of CASA HOGAR La Paz are an active part of the project and will act as multipliers for the topics taught in the various training workshops of the project.
