Hello CASA HOGAR supporters!

I am Johanna Tigges, 21 years old, I am studying International Studies in The Hague and I am working as an intern at CASA HOGAR for the months of December and January. I was referred by my mum, who is a volunteer herself and as a Colombian and feminist, I was immediately enthusiastic about the mission and values that CASA HOGAR represents.

During my time here, I will be working in the areas of social media and event management as well as providing general support to the office. I am very excited about my time at CASA HOGAR and want to learn more about how much work and passion is behind international development cooperation. I would also like to gain practical experience in the coordination of projects. I am particularly interested in how local initiatives and global networks work together to bring about sustainable change.

I look forward to learning from experienced colleagues and making my contribution to promoting positive change together with CASA HOGAR.
