Science and robotics for all!
Thanks to a strategic alliance with the state educational institution SENA, the students of CASA HOGAR La Paz in Quibdó as well as the girls of CASA HOGAR Nina María and 70 students of the Colegio Diocesano San José in Istmina participate in the project “Tecno-academias itinerantes”. This project provides learning platforms where primary and secondary school students from rural areas in different regions of Colombia can learn skills in science, technology and innovation. A key part of the project is that students can combine their knowledge of their own context with science and technology to find innovative solutions to everyday problems in their communities.
This project started in February 2021 and will continue in 2022. Especially for the girls of Casa Hogar Nina Maria, it was and is a great way to learn through play. They have even taken part in regional competitions.
We thank SENA for allowing us to be part of this great project!
